Mrs. Emily Ann Burch
ARCOLA, Ill. -- Mrs. Emily Ann Burch, 41, of Humboldt, formerly of Oscoda, Mich., died at 1:05 a.m. today in Jarman Hospital, Tuscola.
She had been a patient in the hospital since June 12, following a traffic accident, on Interstate 57, near Galton. She and her family were in the process of moving to Humboldt from Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda at the time of the accident.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Arcola Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola. The parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by Msgr. James Haggerty.
Mrs. Burch was born July 8, 1931, in Douglas County, the daughter of Alois and Julia Magum Kleiss. She married Fred Burch in Arcola Sept. 11, 1948. He survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Wanda Sue Jara of Clovis, N.M., Jewel Frances, Audrey Marie and Peggy Lee, all at home; a son, Joseph Wayne, at home; one sister, Rose Olinger of Hindsboro; and one brother, Theodore Kleiss of Newman.
