ARCOLA -- Joseph Wayne Burch Sr., 54, of Arcola died at 9:49 a.m. Monday (April 11, 2011) in Arcola.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola with the Rev. Barry Harmon officiating. Burial will be at Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was born July 5, 1956, in Big Spring, Tex., the son of Fred and Emily Kliess Burch. He married Carol Clabaugh in 1995; she survives.
Other survivors include one son, Joseph Burch Jr. of Mattoon; two daughters, Emily Burch of St. Marys, Ga., and Crystal Burch of Mattoon; one stepdaughter, Marsha Kimery of Arcola; four sisters, Wanda Jara, Jewel Tristan, and Peggy Bauder, all of New Mexico, and Audrey Hall of Charleston; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one stepson; and one grandson.
Mr. Burch was formerly employed with Monahan Partners in Arcola.
