On September 22, 2013 Windell Arnold Doyle age 85, a beloved brother, husband, father, and friend went to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by his loving family at his home in Snow Creek, VA.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Thomas Doyle, mother Mary Lilly Hundley, five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years Aileene Joyce Doyle, sons Fred Doyle and wife Debbie, Kevin Doyle and wife Susan, daughter Charlotte Doyle McCauley, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired from the Tultex Corporation with thirty-five years of service. He loved the Lord, his family and friends. He enjoyed serving Snow Creek Christian Church as a teacher, and as a choir and board member. He and his wife served the Lord by sharing their love, encouragement, and resources with others.
A celebration of his life will begin with visitation on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 12:00–2:00 PM at Snow Creek Christian Church. The service will start at 2:00 PM and interment will follow at the church cemetery.
