CERRA. Angel Cerra, age 57, of Bridgeport, died on Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Bridgeport Hospital.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Angel was the son of the late Jose and Gumersinda (Lopez) Cerra, and was a Bridgeport resident for the past 19 years. He was an employee of Country Home Bakery formerly of Bridgeport and was currently employed as a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include three sisters, Maria Isabel Perez and Olga Alvarez, both of Bridgeport, and Gloria Alvarez of Hamden; one brother, Rafael Cerra of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jose Thomas Cerra.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. (Directly) in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.
