Mr. Barton, age 74 of Joyce, LA died Friday, June 25, 1999 in the St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was a native of Atlanta, LA and a retired oil field worker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy B. Barton of Joyce, LA; three sons, Roger Lee Barton of Joyce, LA, Gary Wayne Barton of Pineville, LA; and John William Barton of DeKalb, TX; one brother, Russell Barton of Winnfield, LA; one sister, Jerri Evone Roberts of Jonesboro, LA; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
