MS. POLLY RUTH HARDEN, the beloved daughter of the late Mr. Charlie and the late Mrs. Carrie Harden, was born on December 10,1939 in Barneswell, South Carolina.
Polly parents relocated the family to New York City and Polly continued her education there.
Polly was a faith member of the Christian Tabernacle Church, under the leadership of the Reverend William M. O`Neile. Polly served on the Nurses Board for many of years.
Polly's favorite hobbies were Hairdressing, Cooking and Baking. Polly loved to up-keep her home and to cook her home cooked meals for her family and friends. Polly enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, family and friends. Polly was a person that you could always count on for help, support, wisdom, guidance and a listening ear. Polly would open her home to family and friends anytime they needed a place to stay. If you needed your cloths washed, Polly would wash them; you needed a meal, Polly would feed you and if you needed some money, Polly would give the money to you. Polly had a smile that could brighten up anyone's day. Polly's greatest love was her grandchildren, they counted on Polly's love, support and guidance, keeping them focused and pointed in the right direction.
