WAS LIFE LONG RESIDENT THIS COUNTY
Mrs. Gus Schulz, 64, of LeMars passed away in her home last week tuesday due to an acute attack of heart trouble. Mrs. Schulz was a resident of Plymouth county all her life. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Epling and was born in Stanton township, April 5, 1879. She was united in marriage to Gus Schulz on February 13, 1900 at Trinity Lutheran church in Lincoln township. After farming for many years Mr. and Mrs. Schulz retired a year ago last spring and moved to LeMars where they have since resided.

Surviving include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kowalke of Sioux City, Mrs. Albrik Heimgartner of Stanton township; a son Rudolph Schulz of Stanton township; two sisters, Mrs. John Peterson of Hinton, Mrs. Leroy Heiden of Merrill; three brothers, Adolph and William Epling of Hinton, Albert Epling of Sioux City, and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Shulz was a devoted wife and mother, a good neighbor known for her many kindly acts. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran church for many years.

The funeral was held Thursday from the residence at 1:30 pm and services were conducted at 2:30 in the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev H. Meyer officiating and burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were; Fred Lang, Wm. Stoewer, Albert Kowalke, August Beck, Albert Jauer and Henry Heimgartner
