Stanton Township Farmer Died Thursday, May 17, At Farm Home

William Epling passed away at his home in Stanton township Thursday, May 12, following several months illness of heart trouble.


He was born in Stanton on April 7, 1887, and was 62 years, 1 month and 15 days of age at his passing. He was united in marriage to Margaret Albright. He is survived by his wife, a brother, Adolph, of Leeds; two sisters, Mrs. John Peterson of Hinton, and Mrs. Le Roy Heiden of Merrill. Also several nieces and nephews. He spent his entire life in Stanton township farming, and because of ill health retired four years ago but continued to live on his farm.

Funeral services were held at Luken's Funeral Home, Monday, May 16, at 2 p . m. Rev. L. L. Belk officiating, and burial was in city cemetery in Le Mars. Pall bearers were: Arnold Epling, Ray Peterson, Earl Epling, Glen Epling, Rudy Schulz, Harvey Ideker.
