Margaret "Marge" Etter Margaret "Marge" Etter, 72, of 3707 Iroquois Ave., died Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at Hamot Medical Center.

She was born October 19, 1932, in Erie, a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Schwindt Coughlin. She was a graduate of the East High School, Class of 1950. She enjoyed playing bridge and reading.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Coughlin.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ross Etter, of Lawrence Park; a son, Robert Etter and his wife Karen, of Merrimack, N.H.; a granddaughter, Kyra MacKenzie Etter; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Coughlin of Bellingham, Wash. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., Independent Care Group Affiliate, 2122 Raspberry St., on Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church, 837 Bartlett Rd., on Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association of Erie County, 110 W. 10th St., Suite 203, Erie, PA 16501. Ross William Etter, age 75, of 3707 Iroquois Ave., died Monday, December 24, 2007 at Twinbrook Medical Center after an extended illness.

He was born February 21, 1932 in Erie, a son of the late Jacob William and Pearl Feasler Etter. He was a graduate of East High School and Gannon University. He worked at G.E. for over 35 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Downing Golf Course and the Erie Lions Club. He volunteered for several years at the Erie Library and enjoyed golfing and playing bridge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Marge" Coughlin Etter; two brothers, Robert Edward Etter and Richard William Etter and one sister, June Craft.

He is survived by his son, Robert E. Etter and his wife Karen of Raleigh, NC; a granddaughter, Kyra MacKenzie Etter and a sister, Betty Ann Hitzges of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R.
