Andrew "Bud" Cooper, 91, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013.
Bud was born May 27, 1922, to Andrew "Andy" and Jennie (Veltkamp) Cooper. He married Helen Cook in 1953 and began a long career in the talc mining industry.
Bud is survived by three daughters, Kelly Bowman, Kerry Cooper, and Andrea Christensen; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his older brother, John, and younger sister, Juanita Ludwig; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. His parents and his wife, Helen, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held next May in Ennis.
