HILDEBRAND – Arthur C., 80, 300 Lexington Ave., Bon Air, died Oct. 31, 1970, at Lee Hospital. Born May 25, 1890, in Bon Air, son of James and Jane (Hildebrand) Hildebrand. Preceded in death by wife, former Lillie John; daughter, Dorothy Shoemaker; and three brothers and a sister. Made his home with son-in-law. John Shoemaker. Survived by these children; Evan, married to former Joanna Potter, Hicksville, Long Island N.Y.; Carl, Franklin Borough; Harriet, wife of Ervin Dereani, Geistown; Ira, married to former Eva Buchan, Franklin Borough; and Pearl, wife of Eugene Notle, Bon Air; also 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Retired employee of Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Member of Summit Chapel Untied Methodist Church and Retired Men’s Club. Friends rare being received at Carl E. Davis Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Joseph Hajdu. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
