Mrs Mary Geiselman, widow of the late Josiah Geiselman, died at noon Wednesday at the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs J W Riggens, at Culver at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 14 days.
The funeral will he held in Grace U B church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning, followed by interment in the Bremen cemetery.
For many years Mrs Geiselman was a resident of Bremen, she and her husband being among its earliest settlers, and she was the mother of the first child born here, a daughter now deceased.
In early days Mr Geiselman operated a blacksmith shop where the Dietrich department store now stands and was a well known citizen.
Mrs Geiselman was born in Stark county, O, her name being Ringle, a half-sister of George Ringle. She leaves six children, Jacob Geiselman of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Edward of Cleveland, Rev E H of Tampa, Fla, John D of Nappanee, Mrs Emeline Holderbaum of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, and Mrs J W Riggens of Culver.
