Obit: Hulen Felix Richardson, 82, Rocheport, died early Monday morning at Keller Memorial Hospital in Fayette after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raimon Newby, pastor of Woodlandville United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sammy Proctor, Paul Wilcoxson, Roy Richardson, J. R. Richardson, John Lee Richardson and Harold Richardson. Friends may call at Memorial Funeral Home after noon on Tuesday and until time for services. Surviving are his widow, Nina Richardson, of the home; three sons, Riley Richardson, Rocheport, Edwin Richardson, Harrisburg, and Victor Richardson, Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Rella Carey, 204 S. Ann St., and Mrs. Frankie Bailey, Walla Walla, Wash.; four brothers, Aubrey Richardson, Ada, Okla., Jesse Richardson, 109 Aldeah Ave., Hartley Richardson, 1601 University Ave., and Willie Richardson, 900 Rogers St.; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Four sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Richardson was born June 25, 1889, in Boone County, the son of John and Martha Craig Richardson. He married Nina Sapp Nov. 14, 1909. He was a farmer all his active life around Harrisburg and was a member of the Woodlandville Methodist Church.
