D. BOONE TATE DIES, AGE 67
D. Boone Tate, formerly of Tuscola died at 5 o'clock Wednesday morning in the family residence, 443 East Cerro Gordo street, of paralysis. Mr. Tate would have been 67 years years of age next Monday. He leaves his wife and three children, Mrs. L. L. Bramlett and Miss Mattie M. Tate of Decatur, and Homer M. Tate of Boston, Mass.
Mr. Tate was first stricken last March, but partially recovered. He suffered another stroke about Sept. 1. He was just beginning to show a little improvement when he suffered a relapse Saturday, and went down rapidly.
Mr. Tate was born in Kentucky, and the family moved to Tuscola about about 16 years ago where Mr. Tate went into the coal business. He sold out there and moved to Decatur about a year ago, where he expected to engage in business, when his health failed. He was a member of the First Christian church.
The body may be viewed at the Wikoff undertaking establishmer.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
