Rae Pack was the 8th child of Clarence and Estell Pack. She was raised in Pleasant Grove and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married Earl Norris Kelley, in Quartsite, Arizona, and they were the parents of David Earl Kelley. She and Earl later divorce and she married Gilbert Lyle Murphy in 1949. The family lived in Whittier California, raising David and daughter, Judy. She retired from Bank of America after 25 years as a vault teller in Whittier, CA. She lived in Roswell, Georgia and then Clay County, North Carolina for two years.
Rae died at age 89 in Hayesville, North Carolina, July 8, 2011. She is survived by her daughter and three grandchildren.
