Michael Enright is my great great grandfather. Burial site unknown. His dates are also a guess.

No mention of him having emigrated as his wife and children did about 1847/49. Perhaps he died back in Ireland.

Michael Enright was married to Catherine Normile in the mid-1820's in Glin, County Limerick, Ireland.

They had at least 4 children:
Thomas 1827-1889
Michael 1829-1903
Mary abt.1834-abt.1880 (married Wllm Tierney)
John 1837-1909

The children and grandkids of Catherine Normile and Michael Enright were:

Thomas:
Ellen, Michael, Catherine, Anna, Thomas, Maria, Catharine, James J. Enright.

Michael:
John, George, Michael, William, James, Mary, Catherine, Lawrence, Martha, and Anna Enright.

Mary:
David, Michael, Thomas, Bessie, Anna and William Tierney.

John:
Mary, Thomas N., M. Frank, John Henry (our ancestor), Catherine, James, Sarah, and Joseph Enright.

Catherine Normile Enright came over to the USA with her sons, Thomas & Michael, and daughter Mary and her little ten year old Johnny too. That most likely was in 1847/48. Since Catherine's son Thomas said that he went to Albany first, and then to Pittsfield, this leads us to believe that they entered the country through New York City. So the search for them on immigrant ships is narrowed considerably now.

In 1860 U.S. Census for Pittsfield, Catherine "Enwright" age 59 is living with her daughter and family, Mary Enright Tierney and husband William Tierney.

The Pittsfield death record for a "Catherine (Hormile) Enright" (sic) died on November 25, 1868, age 67, from Ireland, of typhus in Pittsfield. Her dates would be 1801-1868.

Originally the family oral tradition was limited to the information on the Pittsfield gravestone. "Catherine Normile Enright, mother of John Enright, 1805-1870."
