Dennis Wade "Denver" Timm, age 54, of Wilson, Wis., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at the Baldwin Area Medical Center.

Denver was born Aug. 1, 1953, the son of Emil and Evelyn (Hanson) Timm at Baldwin, Wis. He graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1971.

On Sept. 25, 1971, Denver married Janelle Larson at Peace Lutheran Church, Baldwin.

Denver worked for Sweeney Brothers Construction, logged for his brother Rodney, worked in construction in the Menomonie area. In 2000, Denver opened his own cabinet shop at his home in Cady Township. He was a skilled expert at cabinetry. He could draw a sketch, take some measurements and build beautiful, perfectly fitting cabinets. When he took on a job and said he would get it done, it got done. Denver also built many shelves, clocks, vanities, hope chests, etc. A lot of people have a piece of his workmanship that will be treasured forever. He was also quite a handyman and could fix just about anything.

Denver was an avid hunter and fisherman. On opening day this past week, he had another successful season, bagging two bucks while hunting with the longstanding neighborhood hunting party ("The Timm Bunch"). He looked forward to what he called the "Men's Holidays"-Opening Trout Fishing and Gun Deer Hunting.
