Espen "Curly" Luttrell was born to Theodore and Lula Luttrell and lived his entire life in the Rantoul, Illinois area, except for the time he spent in the U.S. Navy where he served his country in the South Pacific from 1943-1946.
He worked for forty years with Laborer's Union 703 and spent his leisure time playing pool with the Central Illinois Pool League. He was a member of Rantoul American Legion Post 287, a life member of both AMVETS 92 and Rantoul VFW 675 and a former member of the Sad Sack 11 VFW. He was also a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Rantoul and passed away at the age of 74.
