Frostburg, Feb. 9 - Freeman Garlitz, 48, died at Allegany Hospital, Cumberland, Tuesday, following an illness of three weeks of pneumonia. He was taken to the hospital two weeks ago where he underwent an operation. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Carrie Durst of New Germany, and these children: Lemuel, Pauline, Adell, and Mrs. Martha Bittinger, at home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Avilton. Rev. Father Michael, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
