Elizabeth A. Howresko, 92, a resident at Villa St. Elizabeth formerly of Reading, passed away September 17, 2013 at 4:30 pm in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Howresko who passed away February 5, 2006. Born in Reading she was the last of 14 children of Rocco and Theresa (Cardetta) Pergola. She was a member of the former Central Park United Methodist Church now New Journey United Methodist Church in Reading. Mrs. Howresko was employed as a sewing machine operator at Latisse Handbags for 15 years, was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the East End Athletic Club and Polish Falcons and enjoyed her days at Berks Encore in Shillington. Mrs. Howresko is survived by her son Gordon N. Howresko husband of Patricia E. Howresko of Spring Township along with her grandson John E. Howresko and great grandson John E.S. Howresko.

Visitation:
The family will receive friends Monday, September 23, 2013 from 10:30-11:30 am.

Services from Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:30 am.

Cemetery:
Interment Forest Hills Memorial Park.
