Warren (Shorty) Beaman, of Cataract (Spencer) passed away September 15, 2013. He was born June 18, 1944, the son of the late Willard Beaman and Mary Elizabeth Snider Beaman.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Becky (Berger); 2 daughters, Jessica (David) Hipps, Cloverdale and Sarah (Christopher) O'Neal, Indianapolis; 3 sons, Warren Beaman, Jr., Georgia, Jeff Beaman, Georgia, and Greg (Serita), Georgia; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mary Beth (David) Brown, Mecca, Indiana; several nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews; and great great nieces & nephews.

In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rheda Buehler.

Warren worked as a phone contractor for several companies as a lineman, drop plow, and cable splicer.

He enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, fishing, boating, and horseback riding.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Cataract Falls. Pastor John Nees will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Gentiva Hospice, Terre Haute, or Diabetes Association..
