Rheda Jo Buehler, age 71, of Cloverdale, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville, Ind.

She was born Aug.19, 1941, in Greencastle, to Willard L. and Mary Elizabeth Masten Beaman.

Rheda worked as manager for an apartment complex.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.

She loved cheering for IU, the Pacers and the Colts.

Her greatest pride was caring for family, foster children and sick animals. She created a legacy of stepping out and caring for people who needed help.

Survivors include her children, Wes (Lisa) Garrison of Cloverdale, Michael Garrison of Memphis, Hallie Neblett of Greenfield, Tenn., Aaron (Tracey) Neblett of West Lafayette, Sandra (Charles) Johnson of Cloverdale, Billy (Toya) Buehler of Greencastle, Laura (Todd) Evans of West Virginia, and Christina Buehler of Greencastle; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces; four nephews; 17 great-nieces and nephews; a brother, Warren (Becky) Beaman of Cloverdale; and a sister, Mary Beth (Dave) Brown of Montezuma.

A private graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at Brick Chapel Cemetery in Greencastle.

Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., Centerville.
