Colonel Charles Frederick Fisher's Hat
21 July 1861

First Battle of Manassas

CSA Hat that Charles wore at the First Battle of Manassas, where he was Killed in Action, while serving under General Thomas Lanier Clingman, July 21, 1861. Fort Fisher, located on the Federal Point of the Cape Fear River, is named after Charles.
