THE LEBANON ENTERPRISE, Friday, June 13, 1947. Mrs. L. B. Lamkin, 67, Expires Near Raywick.

Mrs. Allie McAtee Lamkin, 67, wife of L. B. Lamkin, died last Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home in the Raywick section. Though she had been in declining health for several years, her last illness was of but a few days duration.

A life-long resident of the county, Mrs. Lamkin was born on August 24, 1879, a daughter of Abe and Nettie Thompson McAtee, long deceased. She was faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Church and well known in her home community.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, J. E. and William Thomas Lamkin, both of Louisville, and a daughter, Mrs. Mack Thompson of Raywick. Three brothers also survive, Xavier McAtee, of Minnesota; Hubert McAtee, of California; and Thomas McAtee, of Louisville; and four sisters, Mr. James Stewart, of Decatur, Ill.; Mrs. Mae Summers, of New Albany, Ind.; Mrs. Thelma Travelstead of Louisville, and Mrs. Agnes Lamkin, of Raywick.

The rmains were at Bosley Funeral Home until the funeral services, which were conducted Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Francis Xavier Church by the Rev. C. V. Tompkins. Burial was in the church cemetery, pallbearers being J. L. Hardesty, Thomas Leake, Raymond Travelstead, Robert, Earl, and Alvin Lamkin.
