Mrs. C. M. Sanders, 76, died suddenly at her home in Winnfield Wednesday, Nov. 29. She was the former Martha Isabelle Boyett and was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. W. L. Holcomb and the Rev. Ray Teal officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Acting as pallbearers were grandsons, Ralph Sanders, Roger Melton, Mickey Mixon, Don Warren, Lamar Cockerham, and Mark Pentecost.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by one son, Dewitt Sanders, Ruston; four daughters, Mrs. Clifford Melton, Winnfield, Mrs. Alvin Keen, Tullos, Mrs. Fred Mixon, Atlanta, and Mrs. Lonnie Franks, Sicily Island; one sister, Mrs. D. F. Moore, Venice, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
