Frederick News Post February 2, 1960

Mrs. Osie Poole Savage, 68, died at her home near Germantown Monday. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Rachel Poole and widow of Harry R. Savage.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Virginia Ruby, Leroy, Melvin, Kenneth, and Marshall Savage, Mrs. Evelyn Covell, all of Boyds; George Savage of Sellman; Martin Savage, Ijamsville; Mrs. Florence Burrier, Mt. airy; Charles Savage and Mrs. Lucy Dove, of Gaithersburg, and Mrs. Rebecca Gladhill of Damascus.

Three brothers, Charles E. Poole of Frederick; Walter Poole, Dickerson; Martin Poole of Rockville and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Storm of Gaithersburg, also survive.

The body is at the W. B. Wilton funeral home in Barnesville where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
