G. B. Sears was born in Ohio October 1, 1853 and died August 3, 1943 at Fullerton, Nebraska.

Mr. Sears grew to manhood in Ohio, where he married, having a family of four children, three preceding him in death. One son, James Sears, now resides in Kansas.

He came to Nebraska 59 years ago where he was united in marriage to Sarah Jane Worth at Central City, Nebraska, who preceded him in death June 13, 1928. To this union six children were born, two of whom, Mrs. Albyn Barr and Maude Sears of Fullerton have passed on.

Surviving are Clyde of Greeley Colorado, Viola Ross of Ft. Morgan, Colorado, Laura Little of Central City, George of Oregon; also two step-daughters, Nelle Burke of Palmer and Ellen Stouter of Lincoln, and many grandchildren.

Mr. Sears has made his home with Mr. Albyn Barr and children of near Fullerton for the past fifteen years.

Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Glenwood.
