Joyce Luttrell Young McCracken, 83, of Limestone, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning at the Johnson City Medical Center after a sudden illness.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," II Corinthians 5:8.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Karen Young of Limestone and Sandra and Charles Bloomer of Blountville; one son: Kris Young of Johnson City; five grandchildren: Keith Bloomer, Kevin Bloomer, Karla Stanley, Kerri Mullins, and Skylar Young; four great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Jim and Meredith Luttrell of Georgia, and Pete Luttrell of Greeneville; a sister: Louise Parman of Greeneville; a sister-in-law: Imogene Luttrell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands: J. Beryl McCracken and W.H. Young; her parents: T.O. Luttrell and Nola E. Myers Luttrell; five brothers: Calvin, Howard, Elmer, T.O. Jr., and Carroll Luttrell; and a sister: Clara Ruth Luttrell.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, with the funeral service following at 8 p.m. Pastor Jimmy Phillips and Pastor Jim Luttrell will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to go in procession to Oakland Cemetery in Limestone for an 11 a.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Keith Bloomer, Jeremy Stanley, David Mullins, Kevin Bloomer, and Lanny Parman.
