Obituary;
Ceil Georgia Coffey, 76, of New Lexington, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at Genesis Bethesda Hospital.
Ms. Coffey was born Dec. 17, 1926, in Harriman, Tennessee, to the late Edward and Eva Jane Gamble Coffey. She was a bookkeeper and Protestant by faith.
Surviving are a son, Robert Shafer; granddaughters, Cindy Shafer of Bradenton, Fla. and Kelly Shafer; a sister Daisy Lillian Marks of San Anselmo, Calif.; a niece, Nancy Bostwick; great-nephews, Brenton, Blake and Grant; and numerous relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joel Harbarger officiating. Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
