Troy, Ill.--The funeral services for George C. Dressel were held Saturday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church by Rev. G.A. Naumann, the pastor, with interment in the Lutheran Cemetery. The deceased was born in O'Fallon Township on October 10, 1860, and was christened and confirmed in the O'Fallon Evangelical Church. In 1883 he was married to Miss Wilhelmina Klostermeier. Five children were born to them, of which only two survive. They are Mrs. Richard Smalz and Mrs. Fred Spies of Troy. The wife and mother died in 1917. A second marriage to Mrs. Mary Kueker took place on January 5, 1921, and she died on September 10, 1939. A step-son, Alvin Kueker, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother and three sisters also survive. The deceased suffered a stroke last Sunday evening and passed away Wednesday afternoon without regaining consciousness. He was 82 years old.
