While working at the Caro sugar factory on Nov. 14, Wm. Bayley, a former Novesta township resident, was stricken with paralysis and was carried to his home where he died within a few hours of the attack. Mr. Bayley was born in Canada 59 years ago and came to Novesta township when he was 18. His wife died at Caro three weeks before his demise. He leaves two children, Neil Bayley of Caro and Mrs. Louis Keilitz of Ellington; one brother, Richard Bayley of Caro; and four sisters, Mrs. Wm. Schwaderer and Mrs. Margaret Levagood of Cass City, Mrs. Alex McArthur of Wilmot and Mrs. Wm. Justin of Port Huron.
