Delia was one of seven known children born to Edwin M. Pierce and his wife, Martha A. Kenyon. She was born between 1851-1861. Her parents divorced circa 1867; Delia then resided with her paternal grandmother, Julia Hall Pierce. Delia went to Chicago with relatives and was later joined by her brother, Edwin Martin (plus wife and children). Delia married on July 23, 1885 in Chicago (Cook County), Illinois to John Clark/Clarke. They had at least one daughter. Delia died after 1915 and her husband, John died prior to 1915.
