Millicent Pearl Lamb Christensen
1929 ~ 2013
Our mother, Millicent Pearl Lamb of Salt Lake City passed away peacefully in her home on September 2, 2013, at age 84. She was born January 11, 1929 in Salt Lake City, UT to Alexander and Elsie Graham. She was the only girl of five siblings.
Millie was very close to her companion of 17 years Bert L. Smith. They made their home in Salt Lake City, UT. Millie spent her working years as a District Supervisor with Dee's Drive-Inn till she retired. She devoted her life to her wonderful boys and her grandkids. Family was everything to Millie; her favorite times were sitting by pool, barbecuing, or spending time at her kid's house with many friends. She had a passion for working on her crafts, ceramics, painting, crocheting or needle work. She loved going to Wendover for the day to gamble.
Millie is survived by her sons Randy (Sally), Kim (Theresa) Christensen; daughter-in-law Sandy Christensen and her two children Zak and Skip Stephensen; her Grandkids, Debbie Hayden, Brandy, Shane, Brandon, C.J and Shawn Christensen, David Hunt. Millie had 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Her mother and father, three brothers, Alex, Melvin, Gordon and her two sons David, Donny and her companion Bert Smith preceded her in death.
Millie was a beautiful and wonderful person who cared for everyone around her. She had a peaceful and kind soul. She was loved by everyone that knew her. Millie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
