She was born in Medford, lived much of her life in Colowyn PA, but spent the last six years of her life living with her daughter, Nancy Brault, in Kennett Square PA. She was a member of the Berlin Baptist Church(NJ), The Colowyn Baptist Church(PA), and The Chadds Ford Baptist Church(PA). She had one daugher, Nancy Brault, and one son, David J. McKnight Jr.
