Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Griffin Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Ima Gertrude Adams, 78, Kirvin, who died early Monday in the Mexia hospital. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
She was a member of the Kirvin Methodist Church and the Fairfield Eastern Star Lodge.
Surviving are her husband, John C. Adams, Sr., of Kirvin; one son, John C. Adams, Jr., of Kirvin; four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Scarbrough of Old Ocean, Texas; Miss Mary Adams, Mrs. Reba Carter and Mrs. Audie Dillon, all of Dallas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Jefferson and Mrs. Pies Davis, both of Jasper; and several nieces and nephews..
