"Little can be said of Jonathan Jennings which has not already been said of his brothers. He was a blacksmith by occupation and led a quiet, uneventful life. With a warm heart and of the strictest integrity, he made many friends and but few, if any, enemies. He was noted for his great physical strength and unusual courage. He was for many years a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church."

Death and Burial--

Susan Reckard Jennings/McCoy was twice widowed. She was laid to rest next to her first spouse Jonathan Jennings in Mound Cemetery.
