Dundee, Oct. T.—The death of Mrs. Samuel Loomis of the town of Barrington occurred yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at the Ithaca City Hospital, Where She was taken a short time ago for treatment for goiter. Her death occurred before an operation was performed.
She was the wife of one of the highly respected farmers of Barrington. She was 50 years of age and was born at Westfield, Pa., September 26, 1865. Her maiden name was Dorcilla King. She lived at Westfield during the early days of her life and had resided in this community since her marriage about 25 years ago. She is survived by her husband, four sons and two daughters, Mrs. Fred Morse of Eden, N. Y., Ralph, Willis, Miles, George and Mildred, all living at home. The remains will be brought to this village for the funeral and burial.
