Haynes, P.H., ("Buck"), 77, of Rocky Mount, died Tuesday evening, November 19, 1996. Mr. Haynes was retired from the American Furniture Company of Martinsville, and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Stanley Haynes; children and spouses, Jim and Alyenne Hanes Glade Hill, Dean Haynes, Rocky Mount, Marilyn and Terry Edwards, Fredericksburg, Gary Haynes, Rocky Mount, Phillip and Debbie Haynes, Penhook; five grandsons and four granddaughters; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Haynes, Bassett. Funeral services will be conducted from t. Carmel Baptist Church, 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. B. Glenn Voss officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville. The family suggests memorials be made to the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Rt. 2, Box 270-R, Penhook, VA, 24137. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, S. Main Street, Rocky Mount.
