Ms. Patricia Estelle Petty Zinsmeyer, wife of the late Allan R. Zinsmeyer, passed on September 2, 2013. She was a resident at Cibolo Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Boerne, TX. There, she had many friends and people who cared for her with love and grace. Alamo Hospice was forever giving to her. They surrounded her with strength and joy. She succumbed to cancer after a valiant fight.
She had a love for the arts which included playing the piano, writing poetry, enjoying the wildlife, particularly at her country place in Sisterdale and feeding her catfish. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Van Alvin Petty, Jr. and Mrs. Maxine Lambert Petty.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Leslie Ann Zinsmeyer and husband Dr. Guiseppe Colasurado of Houston, TX; son, Van Allan Zinsmeyer of San Antonio; grandchildren, Charles Caleb Triesch and fiancé Ellie Gibbons of Houston, TX, Emily Estelle Triesch of Houston, TX, Dustin Allan Zinsmeyer and wife Echo of Bastrop, TX, Van Allan Zinsmeyer and Kylie Leep of Austin, TX; sisters, the Petty twins, Maxine Mary Petty Kenney and husband Dr. John Wesley Kenney, IV and Christine Sharon Petty Pa and former husband Chauncey Pa of Kauai, HI; sister-in-law, Laura Jane Glassgow of Seguin, TX; great-grandchildren, Kayden Allan Zinsmeyer and Kylene Micheala Zinsmeyer; nieces and nephews, Cynthia Ann Kenney Schleyer and husband Christian Edmond Schleyer III, John Wesley Kenney, V, Kimberley Ann Kekai Pa, Chauncey Kawika Pa and Chadry Keola Pa.
