Early Life: Vivian was born September 6, 1911, in *Wasatch County, Utah, to Joseph Ferdinand and Henrietta Amelia Bishop Hemmelwright.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: During her lifetime, Vivian ran a poultry farm, a care home, raised her children well, and helped raise her grandchildren. On August 17, 1927, she married Elwyn Clyde Snyder in Utah County, Utah. She married John Paul Philip Gustavson Sundquist in Moffat County, Colorado, on August 23, 1939. Howard Ernest Bates became her husband on November 23, 1946, in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. On November 10, 1956, she married Chancey Vero Dodson in Nevada. Lamar Soren Madsen was her last husband; they married August 17, 1992. Vivian lived a long healthy life; all the while she kept her graciousness and her sense of humor. Myrtle Vivian Hemmelwright Snyder Sundquist Bates Dodson Madsen, of Provo, Utah, passed away May 26, 2006. She was 94.
Survived By: Her children: Barbara Everitt, William Snyder, DeAnn Attebury and Juanita Adams; her sister, Phyllis Allred; 26 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Five husbands; her parents; and three of her children: Bertha Janine "Jean" Snyder Loveless, Vivian "Alleen" Snyder Swentzel and Victor Earl Snyder.
