A member of Clermont First Baptist Church, he also belonged to Clermont Masonic Lodge 226, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union 803 and Scottish Rite Bodies and Shrine. Survivors: wife, Ruth; daughters, Sarah Jolly, Minneola , Virginia Oliva, Winter Springs; brothers, Vernon, Douglas, Ga., Dennis, Dublin, Ga.; sisters, Dolly, Broxton, Ga., Masie Love, Hobbs, Ind., Evelyn Lee, Douglas; four grandchildren.
