She came to this community in 1948 from Detroit. She was self-employed as a beautician and was a member of First Baptist Church of Howell.
She is survived by one son, Wynne of Royal Oak; a daughter, Evelyn Ings of Mt. Clemens; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen McCutcheon of Sparta, Ontario.
Funeral services were held Nov. 28 at MacDonald's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald E. Williams of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
