Actor in theater, film and television. Born Manuel Andrés González, his stage debut was on "Six Characters in Search of an Author" by Luigi Pirandello, in Madrid's Teatro Serrano. That same year he also participated in "Autumn Roses" by Jacinto Benavente and later joined the cast of "The Glass Menagerie" (1957) and "Camino Real" by Tennessee Williams, and "Medea" by Euripides with Nuria Espert (1958). Although his most notable performances took place in the Spanish and Latin American scenes, his last professional stage focused on television. He had small roles in "Hospital Central ", "Sin tetas no hay paraiso", "Los Serrano", "SMS (Sin miedo a soñar)", "Mis adorables vecinos", "Aquí no hay quien viva" and "La que se avecina". In 2005 he published his memoir: "Te lo cuento y no te miento: casi un siglo de anécdotas teatrales" ("I'll tell you and do not lie: nearly a century of theatrical anecdotes").
