Stone Rites Monday
Baxter Springs, Kan., July 6, Funeral services for William G. Stone, 68 years old, former Baxter Springs Chief of Police who died Monday at his home in Port Chicago, Calif. will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the First Christian Church. The Rev. E.M. Wheatley will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery near Galena under the direction of the Wene Funeral Home. The body will arrive here at 4 o'clock Sunday morning.
Mr. Stone was a resident of Baxter 30 years before he moved to California in 1943.
