William Louis Myers was born 14 March 1927 in Moberly, Randolph, Missouri, the son of John Russell Myers, Sr, and Annie Mae Harris Myers. Lou had two brothers, John Russell, Jr and Herschel Eugene, and a younger sister, Patsy Lou. After serving in the Navy during World War II, Louis married Wanda Gay Helm and had Susan Lynne. On 14 January 1967, Lou married his second wife and soul mate, Anna Elizabeth Seip. Born of this union were Kimberly Ann and Lesa Linn. Lou was blessed with 12 grandchildren and one great grandson.
