Letha Mae Stone, 80, of Columbia passed away Monday, May 20, 2013.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Memorial Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born June 3, 1932, in Boone County to the late L. B. and Evelyn (Stone) Benedict.On July 2, 1949, she married Harold P. Stone in New Franklin, and he preceded her in death. Letha Mae loved spending time with her family.

Letha Mae is survived by her children, Bruce Stone of Columbia, Vicky Wolfmeier (Marvin) of Vail, Ariz., Dan Stone (Teena) of Columbia, Brenda Kaylor (Mike) of Jamestown, Sandy Stone of Columbia and Butch Stone (Sandy) of Columbus, Texas; siblings Jack Benedict (Tony) of Harrisburg, Larry Benedict of Columbia and Pat Perkins (Richard) of Rodgers, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Harold, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Critchfield; sister Betty Sue; brothers Bill and Donnie; and daughter-in-law Betty.
