TIPTON, Ruby "Faye" (Love) age 82 of Springfield, went home to the Lord on Wednesday August 28, 2013. She was born March 11, 1931 in Boone, NC, the daughter of Clyde and Annie (Hartley) Love. Mrs Tipton taught school at Southeastern High in Richmondale, OH; Ohio University, Chillicothe; Northwestern High, Springfield; Tecumseh High, Springfield; and for 15 years at Clark State, Springfield. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Tipton of Springfield; two children, Daniel and David Tipton; four grandchildren, Ashley Mineros, David Jr, Mellisa, and Colten Tipton; four great grandchildren, Damian, Gabriel, Ariana, and Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and two brothers. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm in the funeral home with Rev. Ken Woode officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
