Marilyn was born April 9, 1935 in Pasadena to parents; David L. and Newell Muckelroy Rusk, a former resident of Gun Barrel City, and has resided in Liberty for the past eight years. She was a graduate of the Pasadena High School class of 1952, had attended business school, was a member of the Women’s Business Association, and attended the First United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed playing dominoes, reading, flowers, travel, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Cecil Rusk. She is survived by her husband of 27 years: Marvin Davis of Liberty, sons: David Sanford and wife Connie of Troup and Rink Sanford and wife Shari of Sacramento, CA, brothers: Benny Rusk and wife Linda of Liberty and Anthony Rusk and wife Judi of Austin, sisters: Gytha McNair of Dayton and Aileen Evans of Austin, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial services was held at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
