Mrs. Flora March Dies Early Today; Funeral Friday
Mrs. Flora March, 78, of 121 Wentz Street, a lifelong resident of Macon County, died at 1:15 a. m. today at St. Francis Hospital in Marcellne.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Church here, conducted by the Rev. P. J. Gilfillan and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Skinner Home for Funerals, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p. m. Thursday.
Mrs. March is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Krueger, Mrs. Helen McDaniel, Mrs. Ruby Bork and Mrs. Cora Maloney, all of Macon; two sons, Otto March of Elmer and Raymond March of Shelbina; two brothers, James A. Carroll of Brandon, Minn., and Simon Carroll of Sioux City, la.; one sister, Mrs. Ella Tipton of Macon; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and her husband, Jacob March, who died in November, 1951.
