Dock McCoy Sr., 85, of Moultrie, died Friday, March 21, 2014, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside rites will be 4 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dain Croft officiating.
Born Dec. 22, 1928, in Berlin, he was the son of the late John Buck McCoy and Ida Mae Guess McCoy. He was a retired maintenance technician with C.E. Builders and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Stanaland McCoy.
Survivors include one son, Dock “Randy” McCoy Jr. of Moultrie; two stepsons, James Jackson of Moultrie and Steve Yeomans of Florida; two grandchildren, Robert McCoy and Billy Joe McCoy; and three great-grandchildren, Claire McCoy, Gracie McCoy and Carter McCoy.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
